Letter from the President

Welcome to Parkside!

In our beautiful neighborhood you'll find some of the oldest streets of Portland with historic turn-of-the-century homes. Parkside has dense, diverse and active streetscapes, many languages and dialects, and lots of friendly faces. Bounded by Forest, Congress and Weymouth streets, we also contain the emerald gem of Deering Oaks Park, the lungs and lifeline of the city. Parksiders are home owners, landlords, tenants, and small businesses, all thriving. The neighborhood is a gateway to the entire peninsula; the Arts and Museum district, countless cultural amenities, great restaurants and lovely outdoor spaces. We walk everywhere. Parkside is close to the Jetport, The Portland Transportation Hub (inter-city buses and trains) the I-295 turnpike, and our fantastic Portland Trails system. Just walking around Parkside, you'll get a sense of past history, present people, and momentum into the future. Gorgeous architecture, peaceful green space and colorful flowers will surround you.

We hope you love it as much as we do.
